Volkshaus Restaurant & bar

For the historic Volkshaus Zürich café, bar and restaurant, we created a series of hand-drawn illustrations as part of the visual identity of the venue. The illustrations were developed to give the brand a distinctive and slightly subversive character, balancing tradition with a contemporary visual language. Executed in a detailed black-ink style, the drawings reinterpret everyday gastronomic objects and symbols in an unexpected way, becoming memorable visual markers of the restaurant’s identity. These illustrations were integrated across various printed and digital applications, including menus, packaging, and communication materials, forming a coherent graphic layer within the overall branding of Volkshaus Zürich.
