AlUla × St. Moritz

For the exhibition Formed by Time - Contemporary Photography from AlUla, Saudi Arabia, presented in St. Moritz, we developed the visual identity and editorial design accompanying the project. At the center of the project is a format publication documenting contemporary photographic works shaped by the landscape and geological history of the AlUla desert. The book design is defined by a minimal yet striking visual language, featuring a metallic cyan cover and a bold copper cross element symbolizing the intersection of cultures and landscapes, desert and alpine. Alongside the publication, we created a cohesive visual system applied across invitations, PR materials and event-related printed objects. Reflective materials, strong color contrasts and precise typography translate the conceptual narrative of the exhibition into a contemporary graphic identity. The result is a clear and distinctive editorial and communication system framing the exhibition across publication, invitation and event materials.
